Wally Cassell

Wally Cassell (born March 3, 1915) was an Italian-born American film actor. Cassell began in films in 1943 as mainly a character actor appearing in many war films including Sands of Iwo Jima, Flying Leathernecks and starring in The Story of G.I. Joe. He later appeared in a number of westerns and gangster films.

Cassell was born in Sicily. He came over to the States through Ellis Island when he was very young and then later on made his career in the movie industry. He has done over 76 films and was a very successful business man after he left the movie industry.
