Wallisdown

Wallisdown is a residential area situated partly in the Bournemouth and partly in Poole, in southern England, and is ten minutes' walk from Bournemouth University.

The area is sited along Wallisdown Road, the southern half being in Poole and the northern half in Bournemouth. The area has 19th century houses and cottages in Talbot Village, although there is much development which is from the mid 20th century.

Schools that serve the area are Talbot Combined School for the Poole half (then Rossmore Community College) and St Mark's School for the Bournemouth side (with a number of secondary schools in the north of Bournemouth).

Buses that travel via Wallisdown areTransdev Yellow Buses routes 6a & 6b (Bournemouth-Kinson) and route 6c (Bournemouth-Tower Park), and Wilts and Dorset buses 14 and 15 (Poole-West Howe and Poole-Bournemouth Hospital).
