Wallis Buchanan (born Wallis Lee Buchanan on 29 November 1965, Crouch End, London) is a former didgeridoo player in the British band, Jamiroquai. Buchanan's first appearance on a record was on Jamiroquai's "When You Gonna Learn", a song from the band's debut album.
Buchanan, while in the band, was viewed as a core member of the band, despite the fact that he contributed only a few tracks among all the recordings.[citation needed] The U.S. liner notes for the band's second album, The Return of the Space Cowboy, credit Buchanan as "Wallis - Didgeridoo & Good Vibes". He also appeared in various videos recorded by the band. Buchanan left the band after recording 1999's Synkronized.
Buchanan is currently a member of a Jamiroquai side-project called 'Tank Tribe'. The project members are (alongside with Buchanan), Sola Akingbola and Derrick McKenzie, who are also current members of the Jamiroquai's rhythm section.
