Walk of Life is the second album by pop singer Billie Piper, released in 2000. Piper's second album did not match the multi-platinum debut in terms of album sales despite producing three Top 30 singles - "Day and Night" went to #1 and "Something Deep Inside" peaking at #4 and "Walk of Life" finishing at #24 on the UK charts.

Despite favourable reviews, the album was not released in the US.^{[citation needed]} Piper subsequently decided to take a break from the music industry and concentrate on acting.

The second single "Something Deep Inside" was remixed for the single release; this version was featured on her greatest hits compilation, "The Best of Billie".

"The Tide Is High" is a cover of a song covered by Blondie in 1980 on Autoamerican. Piper also samples the line "Do you have a Girlfriend?" taken from her second, #1 hit single "Girlfriend".
