Walgreens Health Services

Walgreens Health Services (WHS) is a business unit of Walgreens. The unit was started in 1991 when Walgreens decided to expand on the services provided by its mail service division. The primary subunits of WHS are:

  • Walgreens Health Initiatives (WHI), a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) provider
  • Walgreens Home Care, which provides home delivery of respiratory therapy, infusion therapy, and home medical equipment
  • Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy
  • Walgreens Mail Service, which provides oral, injectable, and infused specialty medications for specialty categories
  • Walgreens Mail Service which provides mail order pharmacy services for maintenance medications
  • Walgreens On-Site Pharmacy
