Thanks for uploading Image:Nigerian Machine.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

OLPC is based on constructionist learning theories pioneered by Seymour Papert and later Alan Kay and Mitchel Resnick

Not sure why it took me 9 months to notice, but on 2005 December 31 you added Mitch Resnick's name to the $100_laptop#History page (aka The Children's Machine. With all due respect to Mitch, to my knowledge, although he is an occasional advisor to the project, there is nothing in the laptop or the program that is based on Mitch's work. If the intention is to clarify constructionist learning, then it may make more sense to mention his contributions here. --Walter.bender 14:48, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

I don't recall why I added his name to the article. If you say that he is just an occasional adviser then I'm sure that is correct. FYI, he is listed as on of the principles on the official FAQ. Cheers, jaco♫plane 15:14, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
I've removed the reference to Mitch Resnick from the article. I'll see what I can do to mention him in the Constructionist learning article, but I'll have to do some research here first before I could really feel comfortable editing the article. If there is something else in the article that you feel could be improved please let me know and I'll see what I can do. I hope work on the laptop is proceeding well!
