[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello Wallaby, welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips:
- Take a look at the Simplified Ruleset.
- Read the Tutorial, How to edit a page and the Manual of Style.
- Create a User page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Add yourself to the New user log.
- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
- Be bold!
- Use the Show preview button
- Provide an Edit summary.
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 10:36, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hehe I Didn't know if i should give a long lengthy detail of my life on the Welcome page, seeing as how i've already made a user page : ) Anyways, I'm happy to be here and hopefully will be of some service to Wikipedia! -Wallaby 06:34, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] What to do about vandalism?
Hello. I've spotted an article that someone has defaced (Article:Nox (Game), What should i do?
- See WP:RV. You might also want to read WP:MOS and WP:NC. Also, instead of pasting in the URL, you can type in the article name (the bit in bold up the top) in square brackets, like so: [[Wikipedia]] → Wikipedia. Also, Remember to always sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful. If there's anything else you want help with, ask me (hit the "edit" link next to this section) or at the help desk. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 01:41, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- sorry, I wrote this in such a hurry that i completely forgot to sign... hopefully i didn't take too much time out of your day! thanks for the help. --Wallaby 10:00, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
