In the March Science magazine they state, "Solar horizon calendars ... among indigenous Americans, with one of the best-known modern examples being at the Hopi village of Walpi." Their reference is S. C. McCluskey, J. Hist. Aston. 8, 174 (1977). I Googled this and found nothing on the web or Wikipedia about this calendar.
