[edit] Saturday Night Live
I remember a Saturday Night Live sketch about Wally Phillip's show - I don't know if it was called WGN, or used real names. It was a Chicago morning show that was for sure intended to be his show, this was where I got my first interest in his show. I knew of it already, but seldom listened to the show until the Saturday Night Live version aired. I have the DVD sets season one and two and have not found it there - must be a year between then and 1979..?? Kidsheaven (talk) 23:23, 27 March 2008 (UTC
Actually found link to the transcript WGN Dick Lanky - a sort of Wally Phillips - or crossed with others from WGN

They used the station WGN name - I don't know where the name comes from, but has similarity in the show to Wally Phillips show.Kidsheaven (talk) 21:15, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
