The event described probably merits an article, but the present one is decidedly slanted against this mineral exploitation activity. The title itself implies a certian point of veiw and should be changed to something more descriptive. Deranged bulbasaur 05:24, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Title too broad

The title of this article should be a bit more descriptive. After all, there are many debates about coal mining around the world.Plazak 17:37, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Moved "Coal mining debate" to "Wallarah 2 Coal Project".Plazak 13:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] POV problems

The whole article is shot through with POV problems. There is almost no description of the project - only of its controversy. There are many unsourced statements. Although the quote in the "Opposition" section links to an opposition web page, that web page does not contain the quote. Also, I don't know exactly how things are done in NSW, but the discussed "loyalty" payment appear to be what I am used to calling a "royalty" payment.Plazak 13:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
