Talk:Wall Ball

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wow. This game was all we played back in Elementary school.

Gee, I was expecting information on slaughter house.

I am awesome at this game. At the town pool in my town i am the Reigning champion. Though the kid i beat disputes this because he cut his nose after one of the lifeguars tossed a bottle down and it bounced up and the cap part hit him in the face. but still, i won, he challenged me to a rematch last week, i'll consider it. [edit] Merge with Sting (Wall Ball)?

  • The Sting article has very little information that could fit well in here. Bisco 13:50, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
It's been done.--Andeh 10:19, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

A lot of the current article structure is a bit awkward, also contains a very detailed ruleset. Maybe better to provide a short description of the game/variants and then link to the rules? Seraphimblade 07:04, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wallball

I think there's another game called wall ball where you hit a rubber ball against the ground and bounce it off the wall. Anybody no wat this game is called?

Yeah. It kind of sounds like the "Handball" in this article. I think there should be a little more info on that section. Note how the previous ones relate to each other that you need to "touch the wall if you do blah blah blah..." and stuff like that. Maybe you could merge some sections and add more info on other relevent stuff (like other types of wall ball).Tiggs 05:22, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Are these...

Are half the games listed in the article even notable? It seems only a few people know what they are.Shindo9Hikaru 01:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

No Idea. The strange thing is I played NC ball in middle school in the Blue Ridge part of North Carolina, only we called it Polish handball. Go figure. But, unless some one can provide some cites, I guess this stuff would count as original research.Timber Rattlesnake 01:09, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

contributed rules for a game we created called wall ball merely by the fact that we throw a ball against a wall. Contributed gameplay and rules for our variation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brianjohnrose (talkcontribs) 20:00, August 26, 2007 (UTC)

It is a very physical game however that seems to be played everywhere in the world in some form or another. 76.183.133.148 (talk) 08:01, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
