Waka Nathan

Waka Joseph Nathan is a New Zealand Rugby Union player, who was born in Auckland on July 8, 1940. He was educated in Otahuhu College and was a member of the school's first fifteen.

He first played for the New Zealand Māori and then the All Blacks from 1962 to 1967, as a breakaway. During his All Blacks career, he was on tour to Australia, the British Isles and South Africa. After his retirement from playing, he has been a selector and manager of the New Zealand Māori.
