[edit] Is this necessary?

Wakko refers to Oklahoma's capital city simply as "its city" rather than Oklahoma City.
I don't see the point of this...the reason he says "its city" is because the name is Okalahoma City.--70.160.205.82 11:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, the name of it isn't "its city" it's Oklahoma City. He calls almost everything else by the full name. --Sivak 16:24, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Additional notes

Pierre is pronounced "pee-YAIR" in the song but the city is actually pronounced "peer". Dasubergeek 21:32, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Additiional notes (cont.)

Wakko's america is ment to teach kids the capitols along with cartoons. In other words, it doesn't matter if Wakko pronounces it wrong, he is seen as a sort of hillbilly country orphan that wasn't taught how to pronouce cities. So I think it strenghtens the portaition of Wakko, so what if he says things that mean no sense that how Warner Brothers dipicted, and thats how it's always going to be. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.64.156.151 (talk) 19:54, 31 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] wakko's america

This fun segment of animaniacs is an expeience to teach kids the capitols of america. It has a fun little twist to it. Wakko sings this song to bring learning up in a fun cartoon other than listing them in alphabetical order. It is a fun two or three min. of learning. Wakko is a smart person at times if he needs to be. So this is a cool song to sing all day long. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.64.156.151 (talk) 21:23, 15 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] City pronunciation

It's noted that Pierre and Montpelier aren't pronounced in the local way. Shouldn't this be noted also about Boise and Carson City. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tcp-ip (talkcontribs) 14:04, 1 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Misspelling

In the notes, perhaps we should mention that the cartoon misspells "capitals" as "capitols". Marnanel 10:45, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
