The picture should be of a GNER train as it is the principal provider of wakefield westgate station - not midland mailnlie as it currently is.

Do you agree?

A bit of a strange argument IMHO. And anyway, Northern run more trains through Westgate than GNER, so aren't they the "principal provider"? I don't think much of the picture anyway. It doesn't really show us that much of the station! I think what's needed is a picture without any trains in it taken from one platform of the other. If I get a chance, I'll pop down and take some photos soon Dupont Circle 19:36, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm not 100 per cent happy with the photograph I've taken of both platforms, especially when it gets reduced to thumbnail size. I'm wondering if it might be better to crop it to just platform one in the infobox? Dupont Circle 18:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

There's no mention of the artwork on the station: namely the "Light Wave" installation from the mid-late eighties. I'm not a local anymore: is there any chance the article could be expanded to include this? Da-rb 11:10, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

I've added a little bit of information. At the moment not only is it a bit dilapidated but it's behind wire mesh barriers, so a current photograph really isn't doing it any justice. I haven't been through Westgate at night recently, so I can't say for sure whether it is lit up as it should be Dupont Circle 18:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

No its not lit up and hasn't been for years - it is being left to rot IMHO —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.158.112 (talk • contribs) 21:50, 22 April 2007
