Waiting for the Morning was released in Norway and Sweden on 14 April 1986 and is an album from Norwegian pop duo Bobbysocks. One week before the release date the album had sold over 60,000 copies to record stores in Norway. Because of this, Elisabeth Andreasson och Hanne Krogh were awarded their gold record on the release date. During the 2nd half of 1987 the album had sold around 90,000 copies in Norway. The album sold gold also in Sweden.
