Waitin' in the Country is the debut album of American country music singer Jason Michael Carroll, released on February 6, 2007 on the Arista Nashville label. As of October 4, 2007,it has sold over 500,000 copies.

The album has produced three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts in "Alyssa Lies" and "Livin' Our Love Song", which peaked at #5 and #6, respectively; "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead", the third single, entered Top 40 on Hot Country Songs for the chart week of April 5, 2008.

The track "Love Won't Let Me" was previously recorded by Victor Sanz, who released it as a single in 2005.
