Wairangi Koopu is a New Zealand rugby league player. Playing second row for the Warriors he is often labelled "Mr Consistency", clocking up over 50 consecutive games for the club before being sidelined by injury. He is the only Warrior to be fluent in Maori and often appears on Maori Television.[citation needed] He is a part of the iwi Te whanau a apanui.[citation needed]
