Sumba, Indonesia
Waingapu is the largest town on the island of Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It is the capital town of the District of Sumba Timur. Sumba Timur's airport 'Mau Hau' is located in Waingapu, and the town is served by ferries from nearby islands. The town has a population of about 10,700 inhabitants.
