The Wailing Cisticola (Cisticola lais) is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family. It is found in Angola, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
