Waikikamukau

Waikikamukau, (pronounced as if saying "Why kick a moo-cow"), is an imaginary small rural town or locality in New Zealand. New Zealanders use the name as a placeholder name for "any town" or to denote a particularly remote rural town. It has a similar connotation as the term wop-wops, or for other English speakers Timbuktu, or BFE[1].
Waikikamukau is an example of how a bogus Māori word can be created out of an English phrase, and some idea of how Māori is commonly pronounced. Māori comedian Billy T. James created several others placenames in a similar way.
It was used as the name of a successful racehorse[1] in the 1990s. It is used as the name of a vegan cafe in Brighton on the south coast of England.
