The Waikato Times is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Hamilton, New Zealand with a circulation to the greater Waikato region.

The Waikato Times started out the tri-weekly Waikato Times and Thames Valley Gazette, first published on 2 May 1872. The paper was first published in Ngaruawahia but moved to Hamilton in 1875.

The Times has a daily circulation of 41,000 copies. Allan Hawkey produces opinion cartoons for the newspaper.

The paper was investigated over reported libel over local businessman Roger Hargreaves in July 2007 although all charges were eventually dropped.
