The Wahluke school district was founded in 1986. It is located in Mattawa WA. It has a student body of 78% Hispanic, 18% Caucasian, and 1.3% Indian. The current student count is 449 students ranging from the 9th to 12th grades.
Before being founded, students were originally bused an hour to Royal City WA.

The School district has one of the most advanced High School buildings to date. It was built in 2006. But the school district was left a big gap in their budget. The school cost about 15 million dollars to build.
