Wágner Augusto Lopes (呂比須 ワグナー) (born January 29, 1969) is a former Japanese footballer. The striker was born in Brazil, and is a naturalised Japanese citizen.
Lopes was an important member of Japan's 1998 FIFA World Cup squad and was best remembered playing alongside Hidetoshi Nakata at Bellmare Hiratsuka.
The striker has played for many Japanese clubs including Nissan FC,Kashiwa Reysol , Honda F.C., Bellmare Hiratsuka, Nagoya Grampus Eight, FC Tokyo, and Avispa Fukuoka.
He is currently an assistant coach at Paulista F.C. (as of September 2007)
