Soap Award from User:The prophet wizard of the crayon cake

Thanks to your lovely hammering cudgel of holy justice... you have smitten (insert random IP numbers here), and hastily reconstructed the great kingdom of me. For your great thwartings against tomfoolery, I present to you my Patented Soap Award tm.

You now totally have soap. This soap is slippery, and thus good.

Much thanks. -- The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake (Prophesize|Witchcraft) 21:09, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Wikiprojects

Waggers is a member of a number of Wikiprojects:

Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories

Cat This user is part of WikiProject Categories, which aims to improve article categorisation on Wikipedia

This was the first wikiproject that Waggers joined. He found that categorising articles was a great way to find his way around Wikipedia as well as learning some interesting and unusual facts. Waggers still does a bit of ad-hoc categorisation now and then.

Wikipedia:WikiProject National Health Service

NHS This user is a member of the NHS WikiProject - You can help!.

The NHS is the biggest employer in Europe and Britain's health service has a long and interesting history, as do many of its component parts. Articles on these component parts were almost all short or non-existent when the project started. Slowly, that's changing...

Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography

This user is a participant in the UK geography WikiProject.

When Waggers joined Wikipedia, there wasn't much going on in this project - it pretty much looked dead. Fortunately though there are now quite a few Wikipedians working hard to improve the UK geography articles.

Vandalism

This user is a member of the
Counter-Vandalism Unit.

Waggers spends a fair bit of time fighting vandalism on Wikipedia. He is a member of the Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit and is equipped with a number of counter vandalism tools.

Portals

This is Waggers' most recent adventure. He found setting up a portal incredibly easy, although finding the right content is a time-consuming task (although fairly interesting and rewarding). To date, Waggers has created and maintains the following portals:

Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity

This user is a member of
WikiProject Christianity

There are tonnes of notable churches in England but shockingly hardly any articles on them. I'm going to try and put that right.

Other activities

RfA

Because of the initial lack of counter-vandalism tools, Waggers wanted to become an administrator primarily so that he could use a robust and simple rollback button. In order to scope what was generally required to be an administrator, Waggers kept a close eye, and voted, on WP:RfA. Waggers believes that integrity and trustworthiness are not only the most important critera for a Wikipedia administrator to meet; they are the only criteria. Waggers becomes somewhat frustrated when other users judge a candidate's trustworthiness by the number of edits they make in a month. Waggers soon became bored with RFA when the better vandal-fighting tools came along.

League of editors

Please take note of WP:Editcountitis before thinking that anything in this section is remotely important in any way. Edit count is not an indicator of how useful or "good" an editor is. What's below is there for interest only. Please don't judge a user by their edit count! This is just a bit of fun!
