Wadi Qelt, Wadi al-Qult Wadi el-Qult or Wadi Qult (Hebrew: נחל פרת, Nahal Prat) is a primitive Bedouin Wadi (Arabic: واديwādī also: Vadi) or valley within the Judean desert, one mile south of Jericho, and near the Dead Sea. It is home to a variety of nature unthinkable in the middle of the desert, from hyraxes to Israeli gazelles and also to the Greek Orthodox monastery of Saint George.

Is said to be the winter home of King Herod and part of it is now a nature reserve named Ein Prat, visited by israelis and palestinians alike.
