- Hi again. Please tell us the name of the image, possibly whre you are trying to place it, and what you want removed. Is it Image:Boat Sunset.jpg? By the way, when you post to talk pages like this (but not in articles) remember to sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end, which automatically formats to your signature when you click save:-)--Fuhghettaboutit 19:15, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

- Hi again Thanks for replying. Yes it is the Boat Sunset.jpg and I would like to remove my omplete name from the comment section. Can you assist?(WaccamawLovers 19:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC))
- went there no such image exists now, some kind wiki has removed it. It looked beautiful on my 1st visit to check out the problem. Hit your refresh button or empty that pesky cache to check for yourself. Please upload it again Edmund Patrick ( confer work) 19:34, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- (after edit conflict) I see: your real name appeared. I have deleted the image as I know of no way to remove that edit permanently and protecting people's personal information is something we take very seriously here. I will undelete it if you want but the personal information will remain if I do so. You can simply upload it again without placing that text. To make it easier, the licensing you placed was {{self|GFDL-no-disclaimers|cc-by-3.0}} and the later text was "A beautiful photo of Lake Waccamaw taken from the Eastern shore at sunset.".--Fuhghettaboutit 19:37, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks very much. It was user error on my part as far as putting in my name. I misunderstood the requirements and didn't realize it would appear for everyone. I will upload the image again. Thanks again for your help! :-) (WaccamawLovers 19:43, 10 November 2007 (UTC))
- You're welcome. If you ever have a problem or need a second opinion, do not hesitate to leave a message at my talk page.--Fuhghettaboutit 19:47, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I have a bit more advice. Though you can upload it here, as it is a free image, consider uploading to to the Wikimedia Commons, a central repository for free images. That way we can use it here, and it can be used on all other Wikimedia projects.--Fuhghettaboutit 19:50, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sunset Lake.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Lake Sunset.jpg. The copy called Image:Lake Sunset.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. I am attempting to edit the contents box on a existing page. Not having much luck with online help. Aplologies in advnce as I am a newbie Thanks Joey
- You can't edit the table of contents on a page; it's automatically generated and appears when there are enough headings on the page already (although you can add it using __TOC__ if you want it to appear when there are fewer headings). Is that what you're trying to do, or are you trying to edit something else, like a template on a page? Which page is it, and what are you trying to do? --ais523 12:03, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

- If you wish to add a new section to a page, you should place the name of the section you wish to create between equals signs, one on either side. It also depends on whether you want to create an entirely new section, or just a subsection. In the case of the latter, you would but the section heading between equals signs, two on either side.
- Thanks for asking, and I hope that helps you! Bugalugs13 (talk) 12:42, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lake infobox on Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina
Why did you remove the infobox from that article? Almost all other lake articles include such an infobox. -- User:Docu
-
- The box was not showing on the page when viewed. There was a blank space instead. Since I am not aware how to modify it so that it will show up I removed it. I'll be happy to replace if you can point me to directions on how. [[[User:WaccamawLovers|WaccamawLovers]] (talk) 16:58, 25 November 2007 (UTC)]

- I restored. It's visible below the infobox for the town. -- User:Docu

- Cool. I see it now. Is there anyway to prevent it from causing the space at the top of the page? [[[User:WaccamawLovers|WaccamawLovers]] (talk) 06:52, 26 November 2007 (UTC)]

- Where exactly and in which skin? Isn't it the space that is caused by the fund raising message? -- User:Docu

- The space gap is on the page just below the Geography heading and above where it says "Lake Waccamaw is located at 34°18′54″N, 78°30′31″W (34.314998, -78.50..". Sorry I'm a newbie and don't know what you mean by "skin"..feel free to enlighten me so I'll know next time. - The problem seems to appear in Internet Explorer rather than a specific skin. I changed the infobox to display it on the left side, but I still need to improve the padding around the infobox.
- BTW you switch skins by changing it in your preferences (Special:Preferences) or clicking on one of the following links: ). -- User:Docu

[edit] The News Reporter
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The News Reporter, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.whiteville.com/pages/atnr.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 06:34, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
