Chaos vs. Superstring is an EP release by multinational jazz-noise conglomerate Desert Island Dicks, released in 2008 by British independent label Amoebic Productions.
The group's second EP, it is their first to feature original compositions for analogue instruments, namely an extra-contrabass string quintet. It also features a cover of "Bunny Cannon" by sometime Glitch City labelmate Starmint Distortion, originally featured on the Glitch City compilation Glitch Village Vol. 1.
The title is derived from the name of one of the rounds on the quiz gameshow What Do Kids Know? in the Paul Thomas Anderson film Magnolia.
