Włatcy móch (IPA['vwatt͡sɨ 'mux]) is a Polish comedy animated TV series, which is shown on a Polish TV TV4 since November 2006. The title is a misspelled version of "Władcy much", which means "The Lords of Flies" and comes from the William Golding's novel Lord of the Flies. The show is about four 8-year boys in second grade of elementary school who want to rule the world: Anusiak, Konieczko, Maślana and Czesio. The director and writer of the show is Bartek Kędzierski, who also dubs one of characters - Czesio. In 2007 and 2008, this series will be shown in Great Britain and Germany. The show has a total of 54 episodes.

[edit] Main characters

  • Czesio - is a zombie. He lives at the cemetery. He has friends there-Marcel and The Colonel. He wants to become a singer of Gorzkie żale (in Czesio's meaning old sad Church chants). He had developmental disabilities, and only after death he's able to function normally. He's generous and kind, sometimes too kind. He can eat literally everything.
  • Anusiak - (in the episode "Nazywam się Anusiak" he's also called Odbyciak - odbyt is Polish for anus) is the strongest and rudest in the group. He's always sniffing because of his allergy. His father is probably a member of Samoobrona. On Christmas he always receives socks.
  • Maślana - (Buttermilk) is the richest and most cunning in the group. He wants to be a President of the World Bank. He often spews. On his 8th birthday his parents gave him a golden credit card. He is very afraid of Satan.
  • Konieczko - (needful or necessary) is a genius, similar to Dexter. He likes experimenting, especially with explosives and on animals. He is also an atheist. He wants to become the President of the Nobel Foundation.
  • Ms. Frał - (the name Frau comes from a German die Frau what means woman , lady). By the main 4 she's also called "the old bag" or "Gal/Dudette" is the teacher of class IIB. She is quite old and is still a virgin. She is very demanding and does not like the main characters. She finds Angelica perfect.
  • The school nurse/the Hygienist - does not have children, and therefore she loves all the children in the school, especially the main four. After the death of Marcel, her husband, she becomes interested in blues.

[edit] Other characters

  • Angelika - is a classmate of the main characters. She came from the USA. She is 3 years older than the other students due to the educational differences between Poland and the USA. The boys don't like her and vice versa.
  • Marcel - is a zombie. He was the husband of the nurse. He committed suicide by jumping from the bridge and therefore he can't get into heaven. He lives at the cemetery and is the neighbour and friend of Czesio.
  • Pułkownik (The colonel) - is also a zombie. He lives at the cemetery near Marcel. He's Czesio's friend too. He fought in the Home Army.
  • The Swearing Bear - Czesio's plush teddy. He is alive and he swears often.
  • The homeless - he doesn't have home and he collects scrap. He mumbles a lot and never speaks intelligibly.
  • The bus driver - he is a Satanist, he performs black Sabbaths at the cemetery.
  • The priest - he is allergic to caffeine. He looks and speaks like Tadeusz Rydzyk.
  • The nun teaches religion in episodes 5 and 24. She is similar to Miss Frau.
  • Mariola Wasilak - She is a TV journalist, who won Oscar for report about polish children on "wykopki" (english "potato lifting").
  • Rambo - Maślana's dog.
  • Zajkowski - classmate of the main characters. He often visit ladies room because main characters hate him. He has fallen in love with Angelika. In one of the episodes Konieczko killed him.

A lot of the titles have got intentional spelling mistakes in the Polish original. For example: Próhnica - should be Próchnica etc. This is because Czesio is the nararator ( somtimes ) and he has a way of spelling badly. Also the shows name is spelled wrong Móch is not spelled with a (ó) (in polish there is two ones, normal, "open" (u) and the "closed"(ó)) but with a normal one, (u).

  • The 32nd episode's title "Gigant" can be translated in two different ways. The first meaning is "a giant" and the second one is "a run away". In the episode, the second meaning has been used and that's why the English translation should have been "A Run Away".
