Unlike birds, insect common names are not capitalized unless they are proper names. Although "wēkiu" is capitalized in the original description, since it's named after the Hawaiian word for "summit" rather than the actually locality of Puʻu Wēkiu, it should not be capitalized. Most hits on Google have it lowercase as well. KarlM 06:19, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
