[edit] Notability
I do admit this article is definitely in the "lower end" of wikipedias notability scale. However it is notable according to company notability guidelines, specifically VYRE and VYRE Unify is monitored by consumer watchdog organizations such as Butler Group and ECMS 365 and possibly more that I'm not aware of. Both of the above have published independent reviews and audits of the software.
The article should refer to and use their publications as a source in stead of just using the company website as a source. But that lack of content does not make the article non notable, it just requires some expansion. --Sindri 13:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hello. As per the proposed deletion process, anyone who is opposed to the delete may remove the proposed deletion template. (in contrast to WP:AFD and WP:SPEEDY). I removed the proposed deletion for you.
- Also, thanks for pointing out the notability of the subject. Note that it will pass the notability policy once the article actually asserts the notability, that is, documents how the company is notable. -- intgr 13:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for the quick work. I found the Butler Group audit online, placed it as an external link and removed the notability tag as well. There was nothing useful to link to on the ECMS 365 site. It would be nice to have at least one more definite source of notability to add to the article. Suggestions? ✤ JonHarder talk 02:34, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

- Should it not be enough to mention those two? Surely a link to the resource is not needed. What is the standard for referencing books (Butler Report is published in print) or access controlled online resources? --Sindri 10:22, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

- For citing books, use {{cite book}}. For more on citation, see citing sources, using footnotes and citation templates. Note that the article still doesn't satisfy notability — notability is not established simply by linking to sites that point out that the subject is notable, but by stating why the subject is notable within the article text, and citing a source. -- intgr 10:47, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
