Vyke is a Voice over IP company. Competing directly with services like Skype, Yahoo! Voice and AIM Phoneline.
Vyke offers free calls with only a one time connection charge to countries such as the United States, Canada and most countries in Western Europe. Hence it falls under the free or almost free VoIP providers [1]. Vyke for mobile sends text messages over the mobile operator's data channel [2].
Vyke Communications PLC is a publicly traded company on the London AIM (LSE: VYKE). Via its main operating subsidiaries, Vyke's Headquarters are in Snarøya, Norway and also has offices in Iceland, USA and Malaysia.
