Vychegodsky

Vychegodsky (Russian: Вычегодский) is a work settlement in the southern part of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, located on the left-hand bank of the Vychegda River. The urban-type settlement is under the jurisdiction of the town of Kotlas. Population: 12,923 (2006 est.); 13,435 (2002 Census); 14,491 (1989 Census).

Vychegodsky was founded in 1942 due to enhancing of North-Pechora trunk-railway construction. There are three secondary schools and one vocational technical school there.

There is a railway station in Vychegodsky, called Solvychegodsk.
