Vyšná Jablonka

Vyšná Jablonka is a village and municipality in Humenné District in the Prešov Region of north-east Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1436. The highest population of about 550 people was at the beginning of the 20th century and in the 50's. The village was from the beginning a woodhacker village.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 385 metres and covers an area of 24.832 km². It has a population of about 60 people.

The village lies in the northern territories of Slovakia. The population of animals depands on the situation. There is a population of wolfes (canis lupus), brown beras (ursus arctos), foxes and lynx's. They are hunting dears ...
