The Vruk is both a bass drum pedal attachment and a method of playing.
As equipment, it is a spring that attaches to the footboard and allows for greater control of the pedals.
As a method it differs radically from heel-toe technique. Rather than being a shuffle as so-called ballistic technique, it is a smoother rocking motion.
