Vršič (or Vršič Pass) (el. 1611 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Julian Alps in western Slovenia.
The pass is the highest in Slovenia, rising from Kranjska Gora in a series of 48 hairpin bends and traversing the high mountains on the Slovenian-Italian-Austrian border before descending into the Soča (Isonzo) valley.
At an altitude of around 1200 metres just off the main road is a remote Russian chapel and further on at the high point of the pass there is the Tičarjev dom mountain hut, where it is possible to buy refreshments or stay overnight.
