VP5

VP5 is a video codec which was created by On2 Technologies in February 2002. When the codec was in beta, to preview its quality, On2 created a plug-in for RealPlayer. Lately the final version of the codec was ready. The VP5 codec was limited, when the VP6 came out. The VP5 RealPlayer plug-in are still available at Softpedia.
