[edit] Notability of Ask Vox website?
So I don't know if the Ask Vox website[1] is notable under Wikipedia:Notability (web). A quick google search found a few third-party hits: [2] [3] [4] but they are pretty brief; not necessarily enough material for a real article. If there isn't enough for an article, we shouldn't mention it on the disambiguation page ("Links to non-existent articles ("redlinks") may be included only when an editor is confident that an encyclopedia article could be written on the subject" from Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages)#Individual entries). (As for linking directly to the website from the disambiguation page, that just doesn't seem right per WP:LINKS although I didn't read carefully enough to wikilawyer that one). [edit] Request Article Update: VOX
DX Mexico
Went looking at the VOX article disambiguation, and saw an entry for "voice operated switch". If I remember my ARRL manual (which I lost years ago) there was a definition for "voice operated transmit". I'm unclear, but if this is correct, I'd appreciate it if a more experienced hand would contribute the appropriate cross-reference.
For that matter, could someone who remembers the QSL card days make a reference to DX meaning "distance communications"? Again, uncertain, and again appreciating confirmation or disabuse. Manuelcuribe (talk)
