Wikipedia talk:Votes for deletion/Counter-smack

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am against the deletion of Counter-Smack from Wilipedia -- 128.210.68.138's only edit.

Well, great to hear your opinion! Now, how do you feel about the deletion of the Counter-smack article from Wikipedia?
But seriously, you've made two mistakes. The first is that the actual voting page is Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Counter-smack, not Wikipedia talk:Votes for deletion/Counter-smack. The second is to think that you'll automatically get a vote just for showing up, and that is not true either. The Votes for Deletion process is one that is best handled by experienced Wikipedians, ones who can argue why, in consideration of all Wikipedia's policies, the article should be kept, should be deleted, should be merged, or any of the other available options. Your edit history says that you have never edited Wikipedia before casting this vote on the incorrect page, which, to be honest, can't get much further from "experienced Wikipedian".
You are not prohibited from posting a comment on the voting page explaining why you think the article should be kept (just telling people "I don't think this should be deleted" and not why is, I'm afraid, not likely to convince anyone.) But it will not be counted as a vote. -- Antaeus Feldspar 20:18, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)
