I don't think this article has any potential to become an encyclopedia article. It is perhaps more appropriate if placed in Wiktionary. Also, I've never heard of this term used before especially in the field of linguistics. It singles out a particular ethnic group, the Kapampangans, in a pejorative way. It's like saying Jap syndrome to refer to how native Japanese speakers speak English. However, I do think that a page outlining the way different non-Tagalog Filipinos speak Tagalog would be fine just as there is one for English called Non-native pronunciations of English and actually giving specific examples. Kapang syndrome is too narrow. I say delete. --Chris 08:50, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not encylopedic. --Jondel 08:57, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: It's interesting, but it seems to narrowly applicable to a Phillippine/Tagalong community and isn't in use elsewhere. Geogre 13:39, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Delete. I agree with Christopher Sundita's arguments. I've never heard of this term used with this meaning, and it is derogatory to the Kapampangans. The term was probably made up by one individual or small group of individuals, but is not widely used.
I've honestly never heard this term used before. Delete. --Edward Sandstig 20:06, 2004-10-29 (UTC)
I think it's logical, and has merit. I haven't heard of the term before, but I understand the logic of it.68.70.73.121 06:28, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
