[edit] Wikipedia:Quicklist

  • Delete. Seems obsolete, incomplete and pointless. – Smyth 19:10, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless anyone can explain to me what on earth I'd use it for. — Bill 19:17, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Abstain. I suspect there may be a strange history behind this article. Anyone care to fill us in first? --Improv 22:23, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • Change my vote to Delete, as per Author's explanation. --Improv 02:58, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • I'd like to know as well, because this thing really confuses me. -- Cyrius| 00:22, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • Comment: Likewise. Strange joke maybe? It says it's an alternative to allpages, but I can't see how it works. If there's no explanation and others want to delete it that's cool, so no vote for now. Andrewa 01:52, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • I have added a notice on the creator's talk page asking him to comment here. – Smyth 12:07, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • See if the creator would like to move it to a subpage of his own user page before deleting it. siroχo 05:18, Oct 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. As the creator of the article in question I'd have to agree with all the criticisms about it. I started it as reaction to some of the problems that existed in the all pages at the time but has since been fixed. When I first started using the Wikipedia I tried to read it the same way I have read traditional Encyclopedias, from start to finish. Of course with Wikipedia that's impossible. One problem I found with the all pages that hasn't been fixed is that most of the entries are for redirects. But that’s necessary of course due to the fact it makes it easier to find things. As the whole idea of the quicklist is flawed and no one including myself has any attachments to it I agree with its deletion. jph
    • Delete. Sounds good. Thank you! Andrewa 07:04, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
