The result of the debate was KEEP with a strong recommendation to merge into a new parent article. Rossami (talk) 00:21, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Utapau
(moved to Utapau (Star Wars))
Star Wars sub-trivia. Probably unexpandable. --BM 16:00, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect to Planets of Star Wars or similar, otherwise delete. Rje 16:43, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Utapau is a real place in Thailand (and the planet is probably named after it). I think we should not, under any account, redirect only to a work of fiction when the place really exists. It appears to be a local airstrip, with a flight code UTP. US forces operated from the base in 1997 in cooperation with Thailand. Average Earthman 17:28, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: I agree about not redirecting, Star Wars' Utapau should be merged or moved to Utapau (Star Wars) or similar. There could be a disambig notice in the 'real Utapau' article, assuming a lot of people would search for the Star Wars one. BTW the Thai place also seems to be called U-tapao and Utapao. - It´s been moved to Utapau (Star Wars) to avoid confusion. VT-16 18:34, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I've made a Utapau into a substub and disambig page, hopefully the admins can fix things that need to be fixed. It's best not to move things while they're still in VfD. Kappa 21:02, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect, as suggested by Rje. James F. (talk) 02:24, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
