Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Theoprax
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Article Theoprax listed on WP:VFD Apr 24 to May 2 2004, rough consensus was to delete. Article Theoprax-Method was also deleted as it was a direct copy of the article at Theoprax and therefore constituted a speedy deletion candidate. -- Graham :) | Talk 00:14, 2 May 2004 (UTC)

This might be a trademark--see [1]. Aside from that, it might fall under "no original research" (not sure on that one) or "advertising". Meelar 17:24, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I agree the exact reason(s) is hard to pin down, but it just doesn't seem to belong here. Niteowlneils 17:35, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Copyvio: PDF Google conversion to HTML. -- Cyrius|✎ 19:39, Apr 24, 2004 (UTC)
- And JPEG diagrams, no less. Delete (and make sure to get all the images). DopefishJustin 21:32, Apr 24, 2004 (UTC)
The copyright problem is now solved by permission through the owner and the jpg image are added. The last formation of the site will start after permission through the community to list the site. GM 23:16, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Delete article and images: advert. Looks like solid technical work, but, still an advert. Posted by its author, so, not a copyvio, but an advert. Wile E. Heresiarch 00:17, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
There's still no evidence that this isn't a copyvio. GMermi has not shown any proof of that. RickK 00:37, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Well, I guess I was assuming that User:GMermi is George Mermigidis, listed as the author of the document cited above (PDF). I guess it could be an imposter but frankly that seems remote. FWIW. Wile E. Heresiarch 01:42, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Why did nobody of the responsible webmasters make a click on the email button of the owners homepage http://www.theoprax-research.com and ask the owner of this homepage if he agree to publicate it on wikipedia for teaching reasons and please him to give an answer for all still existing open question.
Dr. George Mermigidis, GM 09:51, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Note: This deletion debate should also take into account the article Theoprax-Method, an exact copy of the original article at Theoprax, which was created this morning. -- Graham :) | Talk 14:32, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)

This looks like an ad for http://www.theoprax-research.com/, assuming user:GMermi == Dr. G. Mermigidis. Otherwise, it's a copyvio. -- The Anome 13:21, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
