Not quite sure I have the hang of it for schools; but — not notable, right? — Bill 23:00, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: The article doesn't establish notability. It's not a terrible entry, but it doesn't give what an encyclopedia needs. Also, since it was founded in 1913, one wonders if it has a rich history to distinguish it or not. Geogre 03:52, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- A small school, no mention of famous alumni, influence, etc. Delete unless notability established. Average Earthman 10:54, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: If this article is deleted then Bruce K Thompson should be deleted as well. Edward 12:59, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- OK, I completely agree with all of you. I am pretty sure that the articles I have previously created/edited are relevant. It was only after coming across quite a few, in my opinion, short and irrelvant articles about villages and so on, that I wrote Strathallan School, Harry Riley and Bruce K Thompson. Most likely the school article, and almost certainly the other two, should be deleted. Mat334 17:19, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- hang on a minute. Don't give up quite yet Mat. I'll vote to keep if you can provide atleast two notable alumni, which given that it's an independent school should be easy to do. Ill try and find some myself. Graeme C. Warner (a former Sherriff of Aberdeen), MEP Struan Stevenson, Brigadier R. L. - That's one, Dunc, not two. I'm not a big fan of alumni measurements, myself, but you had to reach pretty far to get an MEP. The sherriff doesn't really do it. Geogre 01:11, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Schools need to meet a high bar to be notable. --Improv 01:12, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Looks reasonable to me. -- Necrothesp 09:28, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Added Michael Moore (politician) to list of alumni. Will look for more. Mat334 12:17, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Mark Richards 17:28, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- D Replace the names and dates and it's a suitable article for any school => not notable. As for famous alumni, the two secondary schools I attended between them feature John Hartson and Jessica Garlick amongst theirs, and neither of them has an article. Perhaps one of them should.
