[edit] Rhosnesni High School
Non notable school. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 21:15, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- K The "super schools" plan in Wrexham attracted considerable controversy in the area, even making the national news regularly. If Blake Junior High stays with its desegregation issue, then this stays too. See [1] [2] [3] and [4]. Admittedly, the article needs some work, but it's certainly better than Amesbury Middle School, whose endless drivel contains nothing of value whatsoever. Chris 21:53, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I expanded a bit using those stories, and agree. Keep, but the article should ideally explain how Rhosnesni is different from Ysgol Clywedog (the other super school). Cool Hand Luke (Communicate!) 06:35, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)- Actually, given that it's the equivilant of a US Jr. High, and has probably around 1500 pupils (in spite of being a "super school"), it should probably be moved to a page about the super school problem which seems more notable than the school itself. Ysgol Clywedog (the other super school) could also be redirected to the article. At any rate, still keep. Cool Hand Luke (Communicate!) 07:22, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Non notable. Gamaliel 00:08, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- D, the super-schools may be notable but that doesn't mean there should be an article about a specific shool. Perhaps there should be a Wrexham super schools article about the controversy, but this page is clearly just a place for POV pushing. Joe D 01:06, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Let's put up a Requested Article for Super school or Super school initiative to cover the educational reform/plan/devolution. That would then be able to contain examples of schools formed in that way, along with a discussion of what is notable. Delete this, however, where the school could only be notable as a symptom of a notable change in policy. Geogre 03:58, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Concur with Geogre about requested article. --Improv 06:03, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Merge the super-schools financial scandal with Wrexham (county borough) then delete the rest. Dbiv 13:52, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep or merge to an appropriate article, this stuff belongs somewhere. —siroχo 20:31, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. A school. Mark Richards 18:01, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Merge superschools content with suitable political article; merge specific school content with list of schools in its region. +sj+ 13:16, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)
