I know Olympic athletes are notable, but what is the consensus on their trainers? Radiant! 16:05, Feb 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Well, from a news report [1], he's a three times Olympian himself (for Poland, I'd imagine), and he's trained an athlete to Olympic gold. Multiple Olympian and trainer of Olympic Gold medallist qualifies, I feel. He's also been world veterans champion twice in his age category. Average Earthman 18:47, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Are all Olympians notable? I'll grant you medal winners and other high-profile competitors, but everyone? Well, won't get involved in that now. Trainers I'd say are notable if they train multiple medalists are are actively sought out as being the person to go to. I'm not sure on this guy. I was going to vote delete until I saw Earthman's comments about him being a three time Olympian himself. No vote at present, though if all he had done was train a single winner (especially since saber, while one I like, isn't really the most popular Olympic sport) I would have voted delete. -R. fiend 18:54, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep seems notable based on above info supplied by Average Earthman. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 19:36, Feb 23, 2005 (UTC)

- Keep Olympians. Kappa 21:24, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
