Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Biffeche Deletion Reason why the page should be deleted- This article reputes a "kingdom" that does not exist. It is NOT a non-successionist micronation as the official website states. It is, rather, a fabrication of the American that has pronounced himself "King of Biffeche". It is sad to see this colonialist behavior presented at the expense of a noble, generous and kind people. OPinion: no person should be delete this who is not personally gone to Biffeche and speak to their people there, or has such a reliable source. Biffeche is nothing to do with the micronations.
Look at the top entry above arguing for deletion, for it's author's evident strident POV. It contrasts the "colonialist" king with the "noble, generous and kind people". All value-laden. Is he/she offended that the grandparents of these noble etc. African people chose a white king in 1963? Many African kingdoms (in Ghana and other countries) have also chosen white kings and chiefs at various times. So what? Is this the place for anti-white racism? Anyway the history really happened, it's a fact on the ground that the people have this king, so calling this non-colony "colonialist" as some kind of politically-correct insult or criticism seems irrelevant to whether the facts should be covered in an encyclopaedia article. To call it a "fabrication of the American" is false since the old history is documented (see Boubacar Barry's "Le Royaume de Oualo", Harmattan Press), the press documented the recent history 20 years before this American became the king, and the current situation with the people in Biffeche is clear from the photographs in the kingdom's web page ( http://www.kingdomofbiffeche.net ). There are pictures of lots of loyal subjects and kingdom stuff not to mention an obviously royal tomb. Instead of calling for deletion, the anonymous deleter really should just say in honesty: "I don't like to see white kings over blacks." I checked the references given (CIA Factbook, African Studies Center or the government website); they have no information on ANY of Senegal's current kingdoms and are thus irrelevant.
