Votkinsk (Russian: Во́ткинск; Udmurt: Вотка) is an industrial town in the Republic of Udmurtia, Russia, located about 1,000 kilometers (621 mi) ENE of Moscow. Population: 99,441 (2002 Census);[1] 103,509 (1989 Census).[2] It was the birthplace (1840) and early residence of the composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology operates a machine plant here, the Votkinsk Machine Building Plant, which produces some of Russia's long-range ballistic missiles. Under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty INF concluded between the United States and the Soviet Union, the missile production facility at Votkinsk was selected for long-term on-site monitoring by U.S. inspectors. The corresponding site for the USSR in the United States was the Hercules missile production facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Votkinsk was the birthplace of the composer Tchaikovsky, in 1840.

Votkinsk has a sister city, as designated by Sister Cities International, Inc. (SCI):
