[edit] Name change

I would recommend changing the name of the article from "Votive deposit" to "Votive offerings", since the latter is both the more commonly used term and is more immediately descriptive of both the act and the intention. I'm interested in any opinions one way or another. MishaPan 19:00, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Agree - votive deposit is no doubt the correct term for archaeologists who encounter buried ones; obviously the other should redirect. Johnbod
