Voodoo Six

Voodoo Six are a London based five piece English rock band formed by bassist Tony Newton and ex-guitarist Richie Faulkner in the summer of 2003. In 2005 they supported British heavy metal band Iron Maiden at the Hammersmith Apollo and feature former members of Dirty Deeds. In 2006 they played in the Download Festival in Donnington and in Dublin. Voodoo Six have also played alongside bands like Metallica, Rammstien, In Flames and Soulfly at festivals in Germany. Singer Henry Rundell has been described as "the best voice to come out of the British] music scene in the last ten years."[citation needed]

On August 21, 2006 Voodoo Six released their debut album Feed My Soul. It featured the single "Crawl" that had been released on July 10, 2006. Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris said that the album was "the best debut album I've heard in years."[citation needed]

In 2008 Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica) remixed the album and on March 24 the band released First Hit For Free which includes the single "Faith" released on March 17.

Voodoo Six supported Tygers of Pan Tang and Blaze Bayley in April and May 2008.
