Volvera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 20 km southwest of Turin. As of 31 October 2007, it had a population of 8,500 and an area of 20.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Volvera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Baruta, Panealba, Gerbole-Zucche, and Gerbole-Alte.
Volvera borders the following municipalities: Rivalta di Torino, Orbassano, Piossasco, Cumiana, None, and Airasca.
